ROAR

Student behavioral expectations are based upon respect and consideration for self and others. Northbrook District 27 utilizes Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS). PBIS promotes student success by building positive school culture, providing informative corrective feedback, maximizing academic success, and acknowledging the use of positive social skills.

Wood Oaks has been implementing R.O.A.R. program since the 2011-2012 school year. The purpose of PBIS for the Wood Oaks community is to create a positive learning environment by promoting Respect, Ownership, Advocacy, and Responsibility.

We will do this by:

  • Proactively educating students, staff and community.
  • Using data based decision making.
  • Acknowledging positive behaviors.
