Work on the new STEAM/Applied Technology Lab at Wood Oaks is complete and students are utilizing the new space.
The Lab houses the school’s Applied Technology Program, STEAM electives, and the Broadcast studio. There is flexible seating for students, ample counter space for 3-D printers, wireless projection systems, storage space, and robotics game tables.
The Lab is now open and being utilized by students. The Broadcast Club produced its first newscast on August 23rd.
Members of the District 27 Board of Education toured the new space on August 22nd, prior to their regular board meeting.
