Being an Upstander
Over the course of this school year you will continue to hear the ongoing theme that we are presenting to our students this year of being an Upstander. This week we defined for students what it means to be an Upstander. An Upstander is a person that stands up for their beliefs. A person who does what they think is right, even if they are alone. A person who is not a bystander. We hope that all families can help us to instill the importance of these traits. If you would like to recognize a student for being an upstander, you can do that through our eROAR recognition found on the Wood Oaks web page in the Student Life section.
