Final Newsletter of 2022

Welcome to the Wood Oaks Newsletter. This is my primary means of disseminating information to families, so please check back often. I generally update this page once a week, usually on Fridays, but will occasionally put out a mid-week issue if there is information to share that cannot wait for the weekend. To subscribe to this newsletter, click on the orange bell below, click on the newsletter, and fill out the pop-up form.

Final Newsletter of 2022

Final Newsletter of the Year (Only Posting)

This will be the final Principal’s Newsletter for the 2021-22 school year. Families will receive information about the 2022-23 school year from the new Wood Oaks principal Mrs. Beake over the course of the summer. On a personal note, I just want to let all of Wildcat Nation know what a privilege it has been to serve as the principal of Wood Oaks for the past decade. Working in partnership with all of you, I am proud of the heights to which we as a staff have been able to lead your children. I will always have fond memories of this portion of my career and am so excited that I will be able to continue my work in a different role within this amazing district. Have a wonderful summer.

For reasons related to the pandemic, Google account access for students was left on over the summer in 2020 and 2021. This year, student Google access will be turned off for the summer. This was the practice pre-pandemic. Student Google accounts will not be accessible starting at midnight on June 2nd. Accounts will be turned back on for the first day of school in August. Students participating in the Summer Success Program will have their accounts reactivated for those sessions.
